Kelly Gemellaro (Owner/Instructor)

Kelly was born and raised in Staten Island, New York, and has been a New Jersey resident for over 20 years. Kelly is an advocate for the arts, former professional dancer, dance teacher, choreographer and fitness enthusiast. Some professional credits include: Tokyo Disneyland, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Radio City Christmas Spectacular and Bucks County Playhouse Summer Stock. Married with three children, Kelly has been teaching and choreographing dance at Red Bank Catholic H.S. since 2005. She has also choreographed numerous musicals for Phoenix Productions at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank. In 2017, she received a Count Basie award for best choreography in a high school production of Cinderella.

 

Dedicated to dance and teaching her whole life, Kelly is excited to present Studio 295 an artistic training ground that celebrates the individual. Kelly’s mission is to create a platform for the expansion of the local New Jersey arts community. She hopes to create a flourishing arts environment where all ages, gender and backgrounds are welcome. All levels will be challenged from recreational to pre-professional. She will be offering college prep workshops plus continuing education for adult artists and dance teachers.
